  • Review incoming mail, identify matter and recipient, routing and seeking instruction as required, and saving to file
  • Preparing and sending correspondence in accordance with firm’s procedures
  • Combining enclosures and sending initial letters and documents to parties (bookmarked PDF or as preferred by client)
  • Preparing EFT request for payments required and attending to firm’s authorisation process
  • Phones call to client, agents, courts, other party’s lawyer, as instructed by solicitors
  • Conduct searches using firm’s systems
  • Preparing and sending invoices
  • Organizing files
  • Preparing documents from firm’s precedents
  • Dicta-typing
  • Preparation of e-briefs including combining documents into bookmarked brief, including Bates Numbering (if desired)
  • Preparing reports as instructed.
  • Preparation of briefs – collation of documents
  • Diary and Inbox management
  • Scheduling appointments and booking via Calendar; Teams; or Zoom.
